First, we can't say how excited we are to be the first guest bloggers on the Knot's new San Francisco wedding site! Thanks to all at the Knot for inviting us!

For our inaugural post, we thought we'd take a look at some of our favorite Bay Area sources of inspiration for wedding style. As wedding invitation designers, we're often called upon to design wedding day details as well, from programs to favors. While we love culling through blogs, magazines and etsy for inspiration, nothing beats stumbling on inspiring finds in person. Luckily, the Bay Area is full of great resources!

One of our absolute favorites is Bello'chio (10 Brady Street, off Market). Owner Claudia Schwartz's French-inspired aesthetic is amazing, and she has a great assortment of ribbons and potential bridal party gifts, too.

The Mission district is full of inspired finds, but one of our faves is the Bell Jar (3187 16th Street). You might be able to find the perfect vase for your guest book table here, or just get inspired by their vintage collectibles.

Hands-down the best ribbon source in the city, The Ribbonerie (3695 Sacramento Street in Presidio Heights) has a great selection of new and vintage ribbons. A great resource for color palette and details that could adorn favors, programs, and the like.

Miette Patisserie (Ferry Building, 449 Octavia Street, and 2109 Chestnut Street) is inspiring both for its pretty style and delicious treats that could be served to your guests.

Berkeley holds two treasure troves for inspiration: Tail of the Yak (2632 Ashby Avenue), and Castle in the Air (1805 Fourth Street).

Castle in the Air has a wonderful array of calligraphy and crafting supplies - perfect if you're thinking about incorporating some DIY elements into your wedding.

There's also the amazing Alameda Flea Market (former Alameda Point Naval Station, Alameda; first Sunday of every month) -- a seemingly never-ending source of vintage goodies (like this vintage cake topper!).

The list goes on, but those are some of our favorites! And, of course, we always welcome visitors at Hello!Lucky's studio (977 Howard Street) to browse through our wide array of stationery designs!
